The Penn & Tylers Green Village Show is organised by the Village Show Committee, “the Committee”

Classes are open to all entrants other than men's cookery and those for young people.

Exhibitors may only exhibit one entry per class.

Exhibits must be the work of the exhibitor and be submitted in the appropriate class.

The decision of the Committee on rules or protests will be final.

Details of any rules specific to individual classes and set recipes are detailed for each class.  Size and other limitations will be strictly applied.

Prizes will be awarded at the discretion of the judges. The judges’ preference will be for quality. 

The award of points will be as follows: first: 5 points, second: 3 points, third 2 points.  Trophies will be awarded to the best entry in designated class(s) or the most points in designated classes.

Prize money will only be awarded to entrants in the young person classes: first: £1.00, second: 50p, third: 20p.

The cups and trophies remain the sole property of the Committee or its successors. Prizes are the responsibility of the recipients until returned to a Committee member no later than two weeks before the following year’s show.

All entries are judged anonymously by independent judges. Members and family of the Village Show Committee are permitted to enter.
