The Penn & Tylers Green Village Show is organised by the Village Show Committee, “the Committee”

Classes are open to all entrants other than specific classes for men's cookery, and young people (infants to school children).

Exhibitors may only exhibit one entry in each class.

Exhibits must be the work of the exhibitor and submitted in the appropriate class.

Specific rules set recipes are detailed for each of the classes together with hints and tips for staging your exhibit. Please note that size and other limitations will be strictly applied.

Prizes will be awarded at the discretion of the judges. The judges’ preference will be for quality. 

The decision of the Committee on rules or protests will be final.

Points will be awarded as follows: first: 5 points, second: 3 points, third 2 points.  Trophies will be awarded to the best entry or the most points in designated classes.

Prize money will only be awarded to entrants in the young person classes: first: £1.00, second: 50p, third: 20p.

The cups and trophies remain the sole property of the Committee or its successors. Prizes are the responsibility of the recipients until returned to a committee member no later than two weeks before the following year’s show.

All entries are anonymous and assessed by independent judges. Members and family of the Village Show Committee are permitted to enter.
